316 Centro is one of the most important venues for experimental and independent music in Mexico City. 

We collaborated on the occasion of their second anniversary to conjure up two illustrations, one for the cover artwork of a live recordings compilation and a second one that would be printed as a limited edition t-shirt. 

For this project I deployed some of my main inspirations; the nocturnal, the vibration of sound and colour and the mysterious figures of the nahuales, the Coatlicue – the goddess of the earth and Quetzalcoatl – the sun god for the aztecs.
